Indian Rupee Finished The Day at 95.11 against the US Dollar

Financial Market Overview
Indian Rupee
The Indian rupee closed at 95.11 on Wednesday in comparison to its previous closing 94.8175 on Tuesday evening. The Indian rupee has remained restricted within a narrow band of roughly ?94.2 to ?96.9 since late May, primarily because aggressive Reserve Bank of India interventions have successfully absorbed ongoing external pressures. While soaring Brent crude prices near $100 and a wider merchandise trade deficit continue to fuel domestic dollar demand, these headwinds have been partially counterbalanced by recent foreign equity inflows. However, persistent macroeconomic vulnerabilities and potential shifts in central bank support mean that a test of the ?96.5 to ?96.9 resistance ceiling remains entirely possible. For local cryptocurrency investors, this currency corridor carries direct implications, as any upward movement in the USD/INR exchange rate automatically elevates the rupee-denominated cost of digital assets like Bitcoin even if their underlying dollar valuations stay completely flat.
